[{"text":"After making us scared of shadows, statues and wi-fi Steven Moffat now makes Who fans scared of puddles in a powerful start to the new Season. The script was praised for being accessible to new fans, and for being genuinely scary. Bill is determined and brave and (mostly) clever, but sometimes misses the obvious - like many of us. She is well-rounded without needing a mysterious back story.#NL#The characters of Heather and Bill's mum were notable enough to want to see them again, and Nardole was as wonderful as ever."},{"image":[{"src":"dal608112dalek-st.png"},{"caption":""}]},{"image":[{"src":"pho725425photos.png"},{"caption":""}]},{"text":"#NL#There were several really neat touches, especially the Dalek  with the star in it's eye, and the Doctor travelling back in time to get photos of Bill's mum for her. #NL#The menace of the TARDIS being persued by the water creature was chillingly effective."},{"image":[{"src":"hea23152heather.jpg"},{"caption":""}]},{"text":"#NL#As with many of Moffat's scripts there were significant questions, the main one concerning the incredible power of the space-oil. How come the Doctor had never heard of something so significant, and who are the aliens that have this technology?#NL#The Daleks also seem like almost an afterthought, brought in to fulfil a contractual obligation.
